Karen has raised more than $60 million for for-profits and not-for-profits. Through ELYSIAN Impact, the brand’s philanthropic arm, she connects the brand’s ever-expand-ing circle of Inspiring Women with charities that benefit women, children, service, animals, or the environment. All funds raised through various ELYSIAN Impact events go directly to the charities in need, as this reflects Karen’s – and the broader ELYSIAN circle’s – acknowledgement of leaving a legacy of service. Karen’s career has taken her through the criminal justice system, local and state government, and politics.
Central to ELYSIAN is the philanthropic arm, ELYSIAN Impact, which has disbursed more than $16 million over the past eight years to charities in five areas: animals (welfare), children (abuse and neglect), the environment (sustainability and remediation), service (military and public) and women (violence of any form).
ELYSIAN Impact works directly with philanthropies in these specific areas. ALL donations are made directly to the charity.

ELYSIAN Impact has partnered with When Life Sucks, which focuses on veteran post-military recovery.

Kicking off New York Fashion week… creative powerhouses, women change-makers, and animal welfare organizations joined forces to make the world better for our furry companions through grants for participating organizations.
